I use Office 2011 at work, primarily using PowerPoint. The problem I have happens across the Office suite however I really feel the pain in PowerPoint. I use shortcut keys all the time in PowerPoint, and it runs ok if I'm not connected to our server, however whenever I'm connected to our server and I use shortcut keys PowerPoint basically stops and I get the spinning beach ball. It doesn't matter what the command is - copying a word, duplicating a slide, saving a file, any of these can take minutes to complete. If I use the menu bar however PowerPoint works just fine - this is a shortcut key problem only. Also it doesn't matter if the files I work with are local or on the server. If I disconnect from the server the shortcut keys work just fine. I also work from home occassionally and use VPN Tracker 6 to connect to the server and the same thing happens - shortcut keys = spinning beach ball. Again, if I disconnect then PowerPoint works fine. I'm using a MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 however my colleageus also experience the same thing and they use anything from 10.6.x - 10.8.x.
PowerPoint-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Windows macOS You can modify the duration of a transition, modify the transition effect, and even specify a sound to play during a transition. Also, you can specify the time to spend on a slide before advancing to the next. Set the speed of a transition. Question: Q: PowerPoint 2011 is slow when I'm connected to my work network and use shortcut keys I use Office 2011 at work, primarily using PowerPoint. The problem I have happens across the Office suite however I really feel the pain in PowerPoint.
